Important terms, responsibilities, and conditions regarding services provided by Bailey Tech Labs.
Last Updated: August 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern the services provided by Bailey Tech Labs and your use of the Bailey Tech Labs website. By requesting, scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from Bailey Tech Labs, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or request services from Bailey Tech Labs.
2. Services Provided
Bailey Tech Labs provides technology-related services for homes and businesses. Available services may include computer repair, troubleshooting, malware removal, hardware upgrades, network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting, printer and peripheral support, smart home setup, security camera installation, technology tutoring, website services, server services, and other technology support services.
The specific scope of a service may vary depending on the customer's needs, equipment, environment, and the nature of the problem.
Bailey Tech Labs reserves the right to decline, stop, or limit services where a request is unsafe, unlawful, technically unreasonable, outside the agreed scope, or otherwise cannot reasonably be completed.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the equipment, software, network, or service issue for which assistance is requested.
Customers must disclose known problems, damage, prior repairs, modifications, passwords or access requirements reasonably necessary to perform the requested service, and other relevant information that may affect the work.
The customer represents that they own the equipment or have authorization from the owner to request service and authorize Bailey Tech Labs to perform the requested work.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permission to access business systems, accounts, networks, software, devices, or other property before requesting service.
4. Data Backup and Risk of Data Loss
Customers are strongly encouraged to create and verify a complete backup of important files, photographs, videos, documents, software, account information, and other data before any service, repair, upgrade, troubleshooting, or modification is performed.
Technology services can involve risks including data loss, data corruption, failed storage devices, software failure, operating system problems, hardware failure, account access issues, configuration changes, failed updates, or other unforeseen technical problems.
Bailey Tech Labs will use reasonable care when performing services, but does not guarantee that data can always be preserved, recovered, restored, or protected from loss.
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, the customer is responsible for maintaining backups of important data. The customer acknowledges that data may be lost, damaged, altered, corrupted, or become inaccessible during or after technical services.
Bailey Tech Labs is not responsible for data loss or corruption to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, particularly where the customer has not maintained a separate verified backup.
5. No Guarantee of Successful Repair
Technology problems can have multiple causes, including hidden hardware failures, software defects, malware, manufacturer defects, network conditions, account issues, third-party service problems, or other conditions that may not be apparent during an initial diagnosis.
Bailey Tech Labs will make reasonable efforts to diagnose and resolve agreed-upon problems, but does not guarantee that every problem can be identified, repaired, or permanently resolved.
A successful repair or improvement does not guarantee that the same or a related problem will not occur again in the future.
Additional problems may be discovered during the service process. Any additional work outside the original agreed scope may require further authorization and may result in additional charges.
6. Pre-Existing Conditions and Equipment Condition
Bailey Tech Labs is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, instability, performance issues, wear, corrosion, liquid damage, physical damage, malware, software problems, failing components, or other conditions that existed before service began.
In some situations, attempting to diagnose, repair, move, clean, upgrade, or otherwise service equipment may reveal previously unknown defects or cause a pre-existing failing component to stop functioning.
Bailey Tech Labs is not responsible for the failure of components that were already defective, near failure, or otherwise unstable before or during the service process, except to the extent caused directly by our failure to use reasonable care.
7. Third-Party Products and Services
Many technology systems depend on products and services provided by third parties, including manufacturers, software developers, operating system providers, internet service providers, cloud services, email providers, gaming services, account providers, and other companies.
Bailey Tech Labs does not control these third-party products or services and is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account restrictions, software changes, discontinued support, security incidents, compatibility problems, pricing changes, or other actions or failures involving third parties.
Recommendations regarding third-party products or services are provided based on information reasonably available at the time and do not constitute a guarantee of future performance, compatibility, availability, or support.
8. Hardware, Software, and Compatibility
Hardware and software compatibility can depend on many factors, including operating systems, firmware versions, drivers, manufacturer specifications, existing hardware, network environments, and future updates.
Bailey Tech Labs may recommend, install, configure, or assist with compatible products based on available information. However, compatibility and performance cannot always be guaranteed.
Software updates, manufacturer changes, operating system updates, driver changes, or changes made by third parties after service may affect the operation or compatibility of equipment.
Additional parts, software, labor, or troubleshooting may be necessary if unforeseen compatibility issues are discovered.
9. Customer-Provided Equipment and Parts
If a customer provides hardware, parts, accessories, software, or other materials for installation or use, Bailey Tech Labs does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, compatibility, reliability, or performance of those customer-provided items.
Bailey Tech Labs is not responsible for defects, manufacturer failures, counterfeit products, missing components, incorrect specifications, or compatibility problems involving customer-provided equipment or parts.
If additional troubleshooting or installation work is required because of customer-provided equipment, additional charges may apply.
10. Authorization and Access
By requesting service, the customer authorizes Bailey Tech Labs to access the equipment, systems, devices, or network reasonably necessary to perform the agreed-upon service.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have authority to grant such access.
Bailey Tech Labs may require passwords, account access, administrator credentials, recovery information, or other access necessary to perform requested services. Customers should provide only the access reasonably necessary for the requested work.
Bailey Tech Labs will not intentionally use customer access credentials for purposes unrelated to the requested service.
11. Remote and Internet-Dependent Services
Some services may depend on internet access, remote access software, cloud services, or other third-party systems.
Bailey Tech Labs is not responsible for interruptions, delays, connection failures, bandwidth limitations, internet outages, remote access failures, or third-party service interruptions outside our reasonable control.
12. Estimates and Additional Work
Estimates, when provided, are based on the information reasonably available at the time. Technology problems may reveal additional issues after diagnosis or during service.
If additional work, parts, labor, or services are reasonably necessary outside the originally agreed scope, Bailey Tech Labs may seek customer approval before continuing when practical.
An estimate is not necessarily a guarantee that the requested service can be completed for the estimated amount unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
13. Payment
Payment terms, service rates, and any applicable charges will be communicated before or during the service process as appropriate.
Customers are responsible for payment for authorized services, labor, approved parts, and other applicable charges.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment may be due upon completion of services.
Bailey Tech Labs may decline to release equipment, deliver completed work, or continue non-emergency services where payment obligations remain unpaid, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Service Warranties and Disclaimers
Bailey Tech Labs will make reasonable efforts to perform agreed-upon services in a professional and workmanlike manner.
Except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed to in writing, services are provided without a guarantee that every problem will be resolved or that the equipment will operate without interruption, error, failure, or future issues.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bailey Tech Labs disclaims implied warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, and results beyond the specific work agreed upon, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by applicable law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bailey Tech Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to services or website use.
This may include, without limitation, loss of data, loss of files, lost profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of use, business interruption, replacement costs, third-party charges, or damages resulting from hardware, software, network, account, internet, cloud, or third-party service failures.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, any liability of Bailey Tech Labs shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Customer Responsibility and Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers agree to be responsible for claims or losses arising from unauthorized access they provide, unlawful instructions, inaccurate information, or their lack of authority to request service or grant access to equipment, accounts, networks, software, or data.
17. Unlawful or Unsafe Requests
Bailey Tech Labs will not knowingly provide services that are unlawful, fraudulent, intended to bypass security without authorization, intended to invade another person's privacy, or otherwise inappropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work when a request appears unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, or outside the scope of services we are willing or permitted to provide.
